Will content still be King? The Media Industry is facing immense pressure to evolve from selling products to providing services. The quality of the overall experience defines whether people return to the content, invite friends to join the experience, and spend money on services.
In the one-year program, the lectures will be given out by both academics and industry professionals, thus providing the students with both multiple approaches to business. Participating students develop and put into action a skill set for creating, commercializing and further developing media content as services. The study program brings together designers, engineers, and marketers to explore the design, technology and business dimensions of commercial media services.
We define ’media service’ as comprehensive transmedia content where the Internet and other digital channels are central in
1. Engaging audiences
2. Driving popularity
3. Generating revenue
